As the summer transfer window approaches, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has announced that they will be selling five players in order to optimize their squad for the upcoming season.

The first player to be sold is Marco Verratti, who has been linked with a move to Juventus. PSG have stated that they will receive €20 million for the midfielder, which will help them fund their other signings.

Next up is Layvin Kurzawa, who has struggled with injuries this season and has found himself on the bench more often than not. The French defender will leave PSG for AC Milan for a fee believed to be around €10 million.

Another player to depart from PSG is Javier Pastore, who has been out injured for most of the season. He too has agreed to join AC Milan for a fee of €9 million.

Midfielder Angel Di Maria is also set to move on from PSG, with reports suggesting that he could go to Manchester United or Inter Milan for a fee of €18 million.

Finally, winger Adrien Rabiot will also be leaving PSG for a fee of €20 million, although his departure is expected sooner rather than later due to a lack of playing time under Mauricio Pochettino.

These sales will allow PSG to invest in new players, with the club looking to strengthen their midfield and attack ahead of the upcoming season. With the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani already in place, PSG need to add depth and quality to their squad if they want to compete at the highest level once again next year.
