Lyon forward Ousmane Lacazette has confirmed that he will remain at the club next season, despite speculation linking him with moves to other clubs in Europe.

The French striker has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, but Lacazette has now put any potential transfers behind him by committing his future to Lyon.

"I'm staying at Lyon," Lacazette told RMC Sport. "I want to help the team win titles."

Lacazette's comments come as Lyon look to challenge for the Ligue 1 title this season. The club finished second last season, just one point behind Paris Saint-Germain, and will be hoping to bounce back in 2022-23.

The striker scored 16 goals in 38 games during the 2021-22 campaign, helping Lyon reach the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. He also played a key role in Lyon's impressive performance in the Coupe de France final, scoring the only goal of the match to secure victory.

Despite the pressure of being a high-profile player, Lacazette has shown that he is committed to playing for Lyon and helping the team achieve its goals.

With the summer transfer window fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether other clubs will try to sign Lacazette or if he decides to continue his career at Lyon. However, one thing is certain - he will certainly be missed if he does leave the club.
